Step 1: Navigate to "Construction 4d and scheduling" tab highlighted in red below.
Step 2: Create an xml or load in an xml.
Note: If you are not familiar with creating an xml or loading an xml. Please refer to the following video.
Opening a schedule
Step 3: Click on the staging button indicated below.
Step 4: A pin will appear. Place the pin in the position that you want to stage your objects.
Step 5: The options for the staging area will appear.
Note: The image below demonstrastes how the staging area options are applied.
The image is a top down view of the staging area.
In the image below the user has set the row direction to east and the row stack direction to south.
Step 6: Select the objects that you want to add to the staging area.
Note: Auto-assigning objects to filter can be used for faster selection and placement.

Step 7: Press the button highlighted in red to add the objects to the staging task.
Step 8: The columns will be added to the staging area as shown below.
Moving objects in a staging area
Step 1: Select the staging task in the 4d schedule
Step 2: Click the "Refit" button in the BIM box.
Step 3: Use the gizmo to refit the staging objects.
Step 4: Click the "Finish" button highlighted in red below.
