How to use a Lifting Truck to Grab and Release Objects

Watch the Youtube Video Tutorial

Step 1: Click “Content Library”


Step 2: Click “Lifting Truck” under Construction Vehicle


Step 3: Hold “Shift” button and move the mouse to rotate the truck


Step 4: Click to place the truck and press “Esc” after placement


Step 5: Click the Truck and then click “Grab Object”


Step 6: Hold “Ctrl” and click to select the structural columns
Note: The selected objects will be on the truck after releasing the buttons


Step 7: Click the truck and then click “Move Object”


Step 8: Hold “Ctrl” button and click the columns
Note: Releasing the “Ctrl” button will move the selected items


Step 9: Use the Rotate and Move Tool to replace the columns


Step 10: Click “Finish” after placement


Step11: Click the truck and click “Add” to add a frame in the animation


Step 12: Click “Move Vehicle” to move the vehicle


Step 13: Click to place the vehicle


Step 14: Click “Add” and then click “Release Object”


Step 15: Hold “Ctrl” button and click the columns


Step 16: Click “Custom Drop”


Step 17: Click “Finish” to release the columns on the truck


Step 18: Click the truck and then click “Add”


Step 19: Click the arm of the truck


Step 20: Drag the wheel to enter the degree next to “New Val”


Step 21: Click “Add”


Step 22: Click the hook and then enter new value


Step 23: Click “Add”


Step 24: Click “Grab Object”


Step 25: Hold “Ctrl” button and click the columns


Step 26: Click the truck and then “Move Object”


Step 27: Hold “Ctrl” and click the columns


Step 28: Use the Rotate and Move Tool to replace the columns


Step 29: Click “Finish” after placement


Step 30: Click the hook and then click “Add”

Step 31: Click “-” next to Max Val to move the hook


Step 32: Click “Add”


Step 33: Click “Arm B” and adjust its value


Step 34: Click “Add”


Step 35: Click “Arm E” and adjust its value


Step 36: Click “Add”


Step 37: Click “ArmRote” and edit its value to rotate it


Step 38: Click “Add”


Step 39: Click “Arm A” and edit its value


Step 40: Click “Add”


Step 41: Click “Release Object”


Step 42: Hold “Ctrl” button and click the columns


Step 43: Click “Staged”


Step 44: Click the hook


Step 45: Click “Add”


Step 46: Edit the value of the hook


Step 47: Click “Add”


Step 48: Click “Arm E” and edit its value


Step 49: Click “Add”


Step 50: Click “Arm B” and edit its value


Step 51: Click “Add”


Step 52: Click “Arm Rote” and edit its value


Step 53: Click “Add”


Step 54: Click “Move Vehicle”


Step 55: Click to place the vehicle


Step 56: Click “Add”


Step 57: Click “Reset” to go to the beginning of the animation


Step 58: Click the play button to play the animation



Add the Vehicle to Schedule

Step 1: Click Menu


Step 2: Click “4D Simulation”


Step 3: Click “Create New Equipment Task”
Note: You can change the date of the task by clicking the calendar


Step 4: Click the Lifting Truck


Step 5: Click “Add Selection” to add the truck to the task
