As a general contractor we have found the use of Fuzor to be invaluable tool to allow us to quickly and efficiently create many different types of animations. Compared to how we used to do this type of task before, Fuzor has allowed us to speed up our process with huge time savings on rendering alone.

We have several key applications for Fuzor, including creating animations for our pre-contract teams for tenders. With our design team, we can work through different construction and installation scenarios to find the best and most efficient solution.

Another key application is the creation of Construction Methodology Simulations (CMS) which essentially visualize method statements to show that we can build a certain element of the project in the safest and most efficient manner. We work through these simulations with our engineering and safety teams, and no matter how many iterations we need to go through, we know we can work through them quickly and efficiently using Fuzor to find the best solution. We then share our simulation with our project teams, which most importantly includes our frontline workers to help them understand the work that they are going to carry out, with the option to utilise the VR capability of Fuzor to give a fully immersive experience.

With Fuzor's bidirectional and seamless integration with Revit, it allows us to make changes in either software with instant reflection of those changes in the other application. This saves a lot of time by eliminating the time-consuming steps of exporting, importing, and reloading in various applications.

Once a project has been finalized, the ability to export out an executable file and share with others, without the other party even needing to have Fuzor installed or taking up a license, is obviously beneficial. The fact that they can also view that file in VR remotely with their own headset if desired is invaluable.

At SEC, our main use of Fuzor is for 4D simulation and sequencing. At first, we are reluctant to implement it but soon after our first try, Fuzor has become an essential tool in our internal 4D simulation workflow. As a long time Revit and Navisworks users, we are able to migrate to Fuzor with minimal changes on our standard workflow. This gives us less interruption on the production and enables our team to pick up the changes quickly. Lastly, with its integration with Revit, and specifically Navisworks, this gives us more flexibility to other Autodesk and non-Autodesk files. Fuzor is easy to learn, has great visual, another level of animation effects, and high quality render output in a matter of minutes.

Fuzor offers unique tools to add a great value to your BIM workflow.

Tools used in 4D/5D modelling like split geometry, sequence animation, Revit plugins to import from Revit (no material loss) and handy camera setup to export your 4D/5D model. In addition, Fuzor renderer is based on a gaming engine delivering brilliant animations. It is really important to keep in mind that 4D modelling is not sequencing different phases of the project. It should be linked to the project program accurately, and construction logistic should be modelled in high details. Fuzor gives you all these tools. Although you may find cons and pros of different software packages in the market (I tried all), Fuzor is absolutely my first choice to do 4D modelling at this time.

I have been working with Fuzor for several years now on multiple projects and it has allowed me to provide clients a glimpse into their projects like never before. Helping them understand how lighting, materials and building orientation can optimize their buildings. Because of how quick and easy creating video walkthroughs has become through Fuzor, instead of sending just a traditional set of documents, we are able to send over a movie file to accompany the standard 2D plans. This process has eliminated a lot of questions that occur during the design process.

More sophisticated clients are able to walk around a design model themselves. using the Viewer. The ability to create a navigable project file that doesn't require any software on the client's end is a huge benefit, giving the client the same ability as the designer to walk/fly around a design model as they please. I have used the Enterprise version and it is well worth the money. I think this is the best application around that works with Revit live. It doesn't just export info and manipulate it in another piece of software but forms a 2 way link to Revit. It's worth the money just for the .exe exporter function so you can send your clients a playable game version of your model, and the visualization is great.

Also I should note, the support from the developer has been outstanding (Autodesk could learn something).
